Ear defenders, wheelchairs, AAC devices, hearing aids, hijabs and school uniforms – each pupil's avatar appears in every scene.
No more "different hair on page three". The avatar stays consistent across every story, timetable and board.
Describe what's coming up and get a print-ready story to read aloud, print or send home.
No photos. First names only. No dates of birth, diagnoses or EHCP details. Your school controls access and deletion.
How it works
"A supply teacher on Thursday", "Fire drill tomorrow".
A calm story starring the pupil's avatar, pitched to their key stage.
Read aloud on screen, print a PDF, or share with families.

Why I built it
I'm Conor Govey – a practising teacher, assistant headteacher and designated safeguarding lead. I was working with colleagues who needed social stories for pupils. Some weren't sure where to start. Others could make them, but creating something structured, engaging and visually consistent took far too much work.
General AI could help with parts of it. But keeping the same child looking like the same child on every page became a whole new problem. And as a safeguarding lead, I wasn't comfortable with tools that wanted pupils' photos.
So I built ReadyStories: personalised stories that keep every pupil consistent and every pupil's data safe.

FAQ
I'm not looking for people to tell me it's brilliant. I want people who'll tell me what's missing.
